How do you describe the condition of your mopeds and e-bikes?
Every listing states what we know about the bike and how it has been prepared. Where we hold paperwork for a bike, it is available for you to read at a viewing. We make no unqualified condition claims and we do not warrant mileage, and we welcome an independent inspection at any point before you buy.
Can I come and look at a moped or e-bike before buying it?
Yes. Viewing is by appointment six days a week, and you are welcome to bring a mechanic, a family member or anyone else you want with you. You can spend as long as you need with the bike before deciding.
Is the mileage on the odometer verified?
The mileage we publish is the reading shown on the odometer at the time of listing. We pass on any paperwork we hold that supports it, but we do not carry out independent mileage verification. You are welcome to check the bike history yourself before purchase.
Do you sell accident damaged or repaired bikes?
We list the information we hold for each bike, and you can ask us directly about any specific moped or e-bike. If a bike has a recorded insurance marker that we are aware of, we will tell you before you view it. Nothing is hidden behind a description – ask and we will answer.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, debit card and credit card. A holding deposit can be paid to reserve a bike, with the balance settled before collection. Every payment is receipted and the agreed figures are confirmed in writing first.
Who deals with the registration and transfer paperwork?
We prepare the V5C registration document and the associated paperwork for you, explain each stage, and keep you updated until the transfer is complete. You remain the registered keeper once the paperwork is processed.
Can I buy from outside the local area?
Yes. We can send additional photographs and answer questions by phone or email first, and arrange a viewing appointment that fits around your travel. Collection can usually be arranged once the balance has cleared.
Do you provide a warranty with the bikes?
The bikes are sold as seen as described in our terms of sale, and we do not sell them with a warranty of our own. We will tell you if a manufacturer or third-party warranty is still running on a particular moped or e-bike.
How much deposit do you need to hold a bike?
A holding deposit is agreed with you before it is taken and confirmed in writing. The deposit is taken off the balance due, and our terms set out when it is refundable and when it is not.
What happens if I change my mind after paying a deposit?
Our terms of sale set out the position clearly. In short, a deposit holds the bike for you and is taken off the balance, and where a sale does not complete the terms explain whether it is returned. Ask us for the full wording before you pay anything.
